At Denhay, we’re proud to support The Royal Countryside Fund and their vital work with farmers across the UK - people like Chris Johnson of Thorpe Hall Manor Farm in Norfolk.
Chris took a bold step into farming after a career in London, building a sustainable, mixed farm from the ground up. With pigs, cattle, and sheep, and a strong focus on conservation, Chris is creating a farming system that works for both nature and his business.
Through the Fund’s Farm for the Future programme - and follow-up sessions on Savings in Soils and Carbon Clarity - Chris accessed practical advice and a strong local network. It gave him the tools to reduce emissions, improve soil health, and enhance biodiversity on his 100-acre farm, now home to marsh harriers, rare bat species, and thriving native livestock.
This is just one example of how our support for The Royal Countryside Fund is helping farmers like Chris Johnson build resilient, sustainable businesses while caring for the countryside we all treasure. At Denhay/Spoiltpig, we’re proud to play a part in making this possible.
We are committed to making a minimum donation of £25,000 each year which would not be possible without you.
Thank you
