We have won many consumer and industry awards, most recently in 2022 we won two Gold Star Great Taste Awards. We have also won multiple Taste of the West awards and the Good Pig Award – for our high welfare sourcing policies.
Great Taste, organised by the Guild of Fine Food, is the acknowledged benchmark for speciality food and drink. This year, in 2022, Denhay achieved a Gold Star award for the Wiltshire Cure Smoked Back Bacon and Dry Cured Smoked Streaky Bacon.
Taste of the West celebrates and promotes fantastic local food and drink from Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Gloucestershire, Somerset and Wiltshire. We’re thrilled to have won 6 golds for our bacon in 2022.
The Good Pig Award recognises companies that use or are committing to use (within five years) higher welfare systems for sows and meat pigs. Denhay was awarded a Gold Pig Award in July 2015.
RSPCA Assured, previously Freedom Food, is the RSPCA's ethical food label dedicated to farm animal welfare.
